Mark A. Smith

Mark Smith recently completed his first year at the University of Georgia as an honors student majoring in both International Affairs and Agricultural Communications with a minor in Arabic Language. He currently serves as an Ambassador to the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and was recently awarded with a G.A. Burson Scholarship. Mark was accepted as an Undergraduate Fellow on Counter-Terrorism with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies for the 2007-2008 academic year. He will be traveling to Tel Aviv, Israel in July and Washington D.C. this January. He currently assists Dr. Stephen Shellman of the International Affairs Department as an undergraduate research apprentice and web designer. He also works with the Athens-Clarke County Public Information Office as a production intern.
